Hybrid Workshop: Documenting Everyday Heritage

Are you tired of seeing holes where historical structures once stood? Do you feel helpless and don’t know how to contribute to preserving the heritage of your city?

In this two-day workshop, our co-founder Chelsea McGill will teach you how to create a record of heritage structures that can be used by future generations to understand what used to be there.

In the first session we’ll discuss why recording is important and the different practical aspects of creating a record. You will be given a task to record at least one structure which you will present on Sunday evening at the wrap-up session.

If you are in Kolkata, you have the option to join one of two guided explorations on Sunday morning for an additional fee. Only 8 places are available for each guided exploration.
