Virtual Workshop: Researching Family Histories

This Virtual Workshop is about Researching Family Histories.

In this workshop we will discuss various methods of researching your family history. This includes basic training on how to collect oral histories and how to use heirlooms and other material culture to tease out aspects of your family history. We will also look at how to make a proper family tree and contextualize your family's experience over time and space within larger regional and world events.

3. Connect family experiences over time and space to major historical events, local and global.
